About Kāhu Prints

Welcome to Kāhu Prints!

kāhu

(noun) swamp harrier, harrier hawk, Australasian harrier, Circus approximans gouldi - a large brown hawk with long-fingered wings which feeds on prey and carrion and is common on farmland, tussock land and swamps.

The inspiration behind our name, the Harrier or Kāhu leads itself to biologically inspired designs, structural efficiency, customisation and adaptation, as well as our bio inspired materials. Birds of prey offer insights into ingenuity, while enhancing the design and performance of modern techniques.

Created in the gorgeous Hutt Valley, our 3D printed creations are pieces you'd happily display in your home and be proud to do so, knowing they are made using eco conscious materials and biodegradable packaging material.

We are authorised to sell products from a variety of designers. If you are after something specific, please get in touch. We're also happy to offer printing on demand if there's something you'd like printed but don't have access to a 3D printer of your own.
